this was an event for Brian's work where they stayed up for over 48hr so you can imagine what they are like after! They put on a banquet the night they finished so they got to sleep for about 4hr befor they had to be back to the banquet. The team placed 4th out of 25 they did a great job! We had a great time at the banquet !

Aidan has taken some swim lessons and has done great. He started out unsure of himself thinking he couldn't do it. With some encouragement he can now swim all by himself . Miss Bonnie has been a great teacher and we will be using her again before summer comes. I am so proud of Aidan with how well he has done he is growing up so fast!

Daddy was getting ready for a 2am call out and Aidan wanted to try on all his stuff. I don't think he really knew how heavy it was. It probably weighs as much as he does he wanted it off as soon as he put it on. But he still wants to be just like his dad or a fireman he goes back and forth

Road Trip

OFF to Seattle we went with Grandma Pat last Sunday to see my sister and my niece and nephews. We have a great half way point a 7.5 hour trip to Oregon to stop and see Michelle and her kids and we stayed a day with them and another 7.5 hour to Seattle. The kids are having a blast together. The drama of having a girl makes me think twice about wanting one as much as i love my niece!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow we are off to the Zoo with the kids we just might leave them their!! We have been playing the Wii and that is so fun with the kids. I have gotten a great performance Grandma is enjoying the wii also that has given us a good laugh. Brian is in Arkansas in a work competition and today they canceled the day due to a tornado. Well pictures to fallow.

What a great fight shamrock lost due to a broken arm they gave a great show didnt know i was also getting a strip show at the same time inbetween fights the half nacked ladies danced i could have done without that!!! We usually go to UFC fight but this was just as good and alot cheapper :0). This was part of the anniversary and a night without kids!! We all need thoes good thing for grandparents who love to have them! Wow 7 years married and 11 years together where does the time go when your in Love.

Disneyland

Brian came home at the biginig of december and said hay lets go to disneylad in 2 weeks. My first reaction was are you kidding me i sill have to finish christmas shopping and i wont have much time when we get back. So i said what the heck lets go i just have one request on our was down i get to see my best friend Stacie she only lives a half an hour form disneyland so he agreed. It was great to see her and the newest additin to the family baby Davis and catch up on the reast of the family and friends. We had a great time as a family in disneyland i cant wait to do it again.

. I knew this day was coming soon,but i didn't think he would be this young!! On December 8Th Aidan was taking a nap and waiting so patiently for Nana Shelly to come baby site. I went to do another load of laundry which is next to Aidan's bedroom. As i came out of the room i always look to see if he is still in bed just a habit.To my view he was gone, usually he will call me i started to look around to finally find him in the bathroom!
I asked him if he was feeling OK,he said yes. I asked him if he pooped he said yes and he had wiped himself. (We all know what that means). Yes he used the whole roll of toilet paper.Witch CLOGGED THE TOILET!!!!
So Happy Birthday to my husband we both had to take the toilet paper out. I held the bag while Brian used a coat hanger to fish the toilet paper out among the poop. We assured Aidan he wasn't in trouble but you cant use that much and we will work on letting him do it while we are their.
So to end the night I took Brian to a nice dinner and movie of his 30Th birthday and Nana had a blast with Aidan and Quentin

This is great I had the oppertunity to see her at a woman's chirstmas event at Alison's church. She is one of the funneyiest comedian i have ever seen. This is the truth she couldnt have said it better!!!!!!

Here it is the finished product!! Aunt Mariann and Uncle Gary years ago started the
tradition with their kids putting gingerbread houses together. Uncle Gary used to spend hours putting them together with the frosting and alot of cotton picking witch he used to say when things wouldn't go right. This year we had the opportunity to get together with Brian's cousins and do it. We were sadly missing Uncle Gary and Aunt Mariann who are doing missionary work in Africa.We had so much fun even though we cheated and glued them together then decorated them it saved us alot of "Cotton picking" and time. Aidan loved it because he got to eat candy while we decorated and for everyone i didn't decorate the lady outside that would be my lovely husband.

After The Company

After thanksgiving I was getting back in to the
normal day to day things that needed to be done.
So during this time daddy had the day off and
was suppose to be watching the kids
"you all know what that means" yeah right.

So I start to vacuum the house i began downstairs
and moved my way up. Thinking there dad is watching the kids
he comes out of our bedroom and said " do you know what your
son is doing" my response was "NO" you are suppose to be paying
attention to them Why? He said go look!

As I walk into our bedroom Aidan is standing in my bath tub
naked!!! I asked him what are you doing? He responded
cleaning your bath it was dirty! I laughed and said why naked
he said he just wanted to be. (I can never keep him dressed)
I said to please get dressed we didn't want to see you that way.
He always want to help even when it isn't dirty!! It gave me a
good laugh for the day!

A Goodnight Ending

As we all have the nightly rituals with our kids
me and Aidan love to have a little time after
Quentin goes to bed this is our cuddle time!
Some times we crawl into my bed or the couch.
Last night i decided to let him stay up longer
then usual. We started to decorate for Christmas
as we were decorating we were also watching
don't forget the lyrics, the girl was about to sing
the song Hero by Mari ah Carry, Aidan looked
at me and said that was cool. I looked at him and
said what was cool he said Hero's are cool mom!
So I asked Aidan if he had any hero's and with no
hesitation he said "My Dad is my Hero" And of course
I asked him if he wanted to tell his dad so we called dad
at work and told him that made Brian's night.

We had all the cousins over after thanksgiving to visit at my house. It's sad that it only happens one a year and we almost all live so close we were only missing some :o( who live far and couldn't be with us. We ordered pizza had laughed and had a good time.

This year i cooked a turkey for the first time and home made gravy... yes i was proud of myself and took a picture!! We had 24 people over to my mom's for thannksgiving. Michelle and her family came to stay with me and also jim's niece kayla.WOW what a house full i had but i love for them to come and stay! Here are some pictures and more to follow!

Aidan had his first field trip last month to the pumpkin patch. Grandma Pat got to go with so she could take care of Quentin. Mommy got to spend some special time with Aidan on his first field trip for pre-school and not have to worry about my little brother. We had such a great time feeding the animals and spending time with his friends.

A Visit To Auntie Christy

I know it has been a while but we have been busy!! We had the opertunity to go visit Brian's sister at her new place in San Francisco we had tons of fun!!! Brian calls the city San Franfreako and if you have been there you know what he means,but we love to go and walk around and people watch. Christy place is so cute and she has great roommates that we go to meet. We spent the day walking all over. On the way Aidan go to see a fire truck and everytime he see's one he freaks he just loves the trucks, and if you know him i have to drive buy our firestation atleast once a day usually on the way to the gym. Can you say obcessed?? Well the things kids love and if it makes him smile it makes me also. Brians Dad and step mom joided us,we enjoyed our time as a family. We saw the bush guy and Aidan thought it was great when he would jump out and scare the people walking buy. Now we have a great excuse to go to the city because Auntie is there.

The Day in San Francisco

This is one of our family's fun things to do. Every year we go see the Blue Angles fly. We love to spend the day in San Francisco and just walk around everywhere and see all the interesting things and people watch if you know what I mean! This year was by far the best because Aidan love it. I asked Aidan what his favorite thing was that day and guess what that was the "Train Ride"aka Bart! The little things that kids love.

Aidan got to go to his dads work pick nick and see all the cool stuff they have . They got to see the bomb squad truck and robot,his friends dad get attacked by a k-9 dog for the demonstration ,he got to go into the Mobile command unit. We had a good time. Aidan is so torn on what he wants to be. He cant decide between a fireman or a policeman.
